Project Overview
The Job Details Page was redesigned to improve clarity, engagement, and conversion for jobseekers. The previous layout was functional but lacked modern visual appeal, and mobile users faced friction due to duplicated CTAs and convoluted job alert sign-ups. The redesign focused on streamlining interactions, improving hierarchy, and adding intuitive features like a top search bar and a single-step email sign-up form.
Objective
Modernise the job details page to enhance usability, engagement, and conversion. Ensure jobseekers can easily scan critical information, apply for roles, sign up for alerts, and explore similar jobs—all in a mobile-first, visually clean layout.
Core Challenge
The original page suffered from redundancy on mobile, unclear content hierarchy, and underutilised engagement tools like email sign-ups and “Similar Jobs.” The challenge was to simplify and modernise the layout while keeping all functionality accessible and intuitive across devices.


Evaluate & Enhance
The redesign focused on creating a cleaner, more conversion-optimised page. Key changes included removing duplicate CTAs on mobile, adding a one-step email sign-up form above the “Similar Jobs” section, and improving the layout hierarchy with a “Key Facts” summary at the top. A persistent top search bar was also introduced to guide users toward additional opportunities, increasing engagement and reducing friction. These enhancements made the page more usable, visually appealing, and effective at converting visits into applications or sign-ups.

Experiment top vs bottom CTA positions and in-line email form placement to optimise click-through and scroll depth.

Allow users to customise alert preferences or receive role-specific notifications.

Expand the top “Key Facts” section to include badges, skill highlights, or quick apply options.

The Outcome
The Job Details Page redesign delivered a modern, mobile-first experience that streamlined user interactions and improved engagement. Redundant CTAs were removed, a single-step email sign-up simplified job alert subscriptions, and a “Key Facts” summary at the top enhanced content readability. The “Similar Jobs” section was reorganised for clarity and relevance, and the top search bar allowed users to quickly explore other roles. Overall, the page became visually cleaner, easier to navigate, and more conversion-focused, balancing usability, engagement, and a seamless experience across devices.
